2021.09.27 01:57 DJOD123455 Unforgivable Curses

So Harry using crucio and imperio was a mistake by JK imo - even if both justified. There should have been a moral rationale that Harry and the guys wouldn’t stoop to that level (same with McGonigle using it on Carrow, etc)
Thoughts?

2021.09.27 01:57 Makoreactors Apple car play

Little confused and new to Apple car play. I own the 2020 GT rf model and it has Apple car play which is wireless but it makes me connect Every time with a wire first. When I start up my car my phone connects and plays music but through the default Mazda system.
Am I doing something wrong or do I need to have a usb every time and connect it to set it up?
I thought it automatically and wirelessly connect to CarPlay as soon as I get in.

2021.09.27 01:57 person124 Writing a 5e module, and want to reference non-SRD materials

Hello, I am currently in the process of making my first homebrew module and I have some questions about how to properly navigate the SRD (beyond the simple stuff). This might get a bit more.... legal-ish then normal DM questions, but as far as I could tell, these answers haven't really be outlined anywhere. I have three big questions, and they are as follows:

1) This module is in a lower magic setting, and so I would like to have a list of allowed classes and subclasses (with a note that the DM doesn't have to follow it, of course). This is no issue at first as all base classes are in the SRD, however I also want to include those in Tasha's and Xan's. The current format is literally just a list of the allowed subclasses sorted by class. I had the idea of putting a footnote marker in them, stating which book their from along with a full citation of the work.
2) Because this world setting is different from normal I also have a section detailing how the populous reacts with specific races. So like the class list I am naming races by name, but I am then going into more detail about their role in the world. Again, for SRD things this is fine, but what about races like Aasimar? Can I mention them by name with a reference to a source book, or can I not do it?
3) Monsters. In the SRD there is a list of things that are NOT covered by the SRD, they include things such as beholders and yuan-ti. However, lets say I want to include a Devourer from Volo's Guide, can I? If I don't mention any stats for it, but merely state which book its in (doing the same type of citation as the classes), is that allowed?
Thank you for taking the time to read this! I am fine if the rules end up being more strict then I could hope for, however I am willing to jump through some hoops to make my idea a reality.

I’ve gone to multiple Walgreens and have seen Len, the vampire cat, tangie, Dante flip, the narwhal skeleton, and paxton flip. Would anyone be willing to trade one of them for Cressida, day of the dead cat and unicorn, or hocus pocus squish?😊

2021.09.27 01:57 Illustrious_Key_7072 What do you think of the name Acacia?

The name Acacia is a girl's name of Greek origin meaning "thorny". Acacia is a rarely used Greek flower name.
The acacia is a shrub of the mimosa family, with clusters of showy white or yellow blossoms, which symbolizes resurrection and immortality. Named by an early Greek botanist, the acacia is known for its fine wood and medicinal properties. It also has biblical ties, since the Ark of the Covenant was made out of Acacia wood.
As a given name, Acacia has had some popularity in Australia, where the acacia (sometimes known there as the wattle) is a common plant and sometime national symbol.
Pronounced uh-kay-sha.
